<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Today, there is a gradual reduction in the use of specific dialectal features in the Yakut dialect, some of which are rooted in the archaic characteristics of the Yakut language. The Abyi dialect, in particular, is at risk of losing certain linguistic phenomena that are unique to its morphological system. The aim of this paper was to examine the analytical form of the -ya participle and the kel- auxiliary verb, and to conduct a comparative historical analysis of their components. To achieve this objective, the following steps were taken: 1) to identify the frequency of use of the analytical construction in question in the speech of the Abyi Yakuts; to analyze the dialectal analytical construction into components; 3) to compare the dialectal analytical construction with a commonly used free word combination. The survey results, which indicate that the construction remains functional for approximately half of the participants, confirm its relatively high level of vitality. As part of the grammatical analysis, full-fledged words function as the main part of speech and morphemes acquire additional markers. In other Turkic languages there is a similar analytical construction in the composition -gu- kel-, where the components also become indicators of other grammatical categories. The free word combination of the -yah participle, the nominal word sanaa/baga with a possessive affix and the kel- auxiliary, which is part of the norm of the literary language, is a formation of a later period. When speakers of central or relatively close dialects shifted to other modality expressions mode, the use of an archaic form became established in the periphery. It is therefore necessary to identify factors that contribute to the preservation of ancient linguistic phenomena in northern dialects of the Yakut language, in order to maintain the unique linguistic heritage of the North and Arctic regions of the Russian Federation in the future.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>аналитическая конструкция</kwd><kwd>аналитический формант</kwd><kwd>свободное сочетание</kwd><kwd>модальность</kwd><kwd>анкетирование</kwd><kwd>диалектизм</kwd><kwd>абыйский говор</kwd><kwd>северо-восточная группа</kwd><kwd>якутский язык</kwd><kwd>тюркские языки</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>analytical construction</kwd><kwd>analytical formant</kwd><kwd>free word combination</kwd><kwd>modality</kwd><kwd>questioning</kwd><kwd>dialecticism</kwd><kwd>Abyi dialect</kwd><kwd>Northeastern group</kwd><kwd>Yakut language</kwd><kwd>Turkic languages.</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Статья подготовлена в рамках реализации проекта РНФ «Языки и культуры народов Севера и Арктики РФ: комплексные социогуманитарные исследования (на основе анализа больших данных)» (Соглашение N25-78-30006 от 22.05.2025 г.).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This article was written with support from RSF “Languages and Cultures of the Peoples of the North and the Arctic of the Russian Federation: Comprehensive socio-humanitarian research (on the basis of big data)” (Agreement No25-78-30006 of 22.05.2025).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Малышева Н.В., Борисова В.С., Турантаева Н.В. и др.
