В статье рассмотрены особенности передачи собственных имен в тексте повести алтайского писателя Дибаша Каинчина «Пепел звезд» при переводе с русского языка на якутский. Важность исследований языка художественных переводов в развитии литератур и воспитании культуры межнационального общения обусловливает актуальность рассматриваемой темы. Имена собственные являются предметом особой лингвистической науки – ономастики. Также имена собственные являются объектом перевода, так как функционируют в текстах различной стилевой принадлежности и представляют определенную проблему для переводчика, особенно если не существует зафиксированного образца передачи имени собственного на переводящий язык. Цель работы – анализ методов и способов, примененных при переводе имен собственных Семеном Гороховым для сохранения лексико-грамматических и стилистических особенностей, отличающие авторский стиль Дибаша Каинчина на переводящем (якутском) языке. Методы исследования – сравнительно-сопоставительный анализ перевода с исходным текстом и текстом на русском языке, лексико-семантический и статистический анализы. Сравнительно-сопоставительный анализ повести «Пепел звезд» с его переводом на якутский язык позволил выявить лексикограмматические, стилистические особенности имен собственных и рассмотреть приемы их передачи и сохранения при переводе, адекватность передачи авторского замысла в использовании имен персонажей. Материалом исследования послужили повесть Дибаша Каинчина «Пепел звезд» (1994 г.), переведенный им самим и дочерью Кемене Каинчиной с алтайского языка на русский (2006 г.), и переведенный на якутский язык Семеном Гороховым (2009 г.). В результате исследования удалось выделить следующие переводческие приемы, применяемые при передаче имен собственных в текстах литератур родственных языков: фонетические способы перевода: транскрипция, транслитерация, сочетание транскрипции и транслитерации; лексические способы перевода: семантическое калькирование, генерализация. Установлено, что при переводе имен собственных повести используется в основном семантическое калькирование. Следующим распространенным способом является транслитерация в сочетании с транскрипцией, далее идет транслитерация, затем – генерализация. Переводчик Семен Горохов при помощи этих приемов сумел точно передать заложенные автором значения, а также раскрыть смысл имен собственных повести “Пепел звезд” во всем их разнообразии. Положительную роль при переводе сыграла родственность двух языков – в основе как алтайского, так и якутского вариантов у многих имен собственных использованы одни и те же лексемы с общетюркскими корнями.
The article considers the peculiarities of transferring proper names in the text of the story of the Altai writer Dibash Kainchin “Ashes of the Stars” when translated from Russian into the Yakut language. The importance of research on the language of literary translations in the development of literature and the education of the culture of interethnic communication determines the relevance of the topic under consideration. Proper names are the subject of a special linguistic branch – onomastics. The proper name is also the object of translation, since it functions in texts of various stylistic affiliation and presents a certain problem for the translator, especially if there is no fixed pattern of transferring the proper name to the translating language. The purpose of the work is to analyze the methods and techniques used in the translation of proper names by the translator Semyon Gorokhov to preserve the lexical, grammatical and stylistic features that distinguish the author’s style of Dibash Kainchin in the target (Yakut) language. Research methods – comparative analysis of the translation with the source text and the text in Russian, lexico-semantic and statistical analysis. A comparative analysis of the story “Ashes of the Stars” with its translation into the Yakut language allowed us to identify lexical, grammatical, stylistic features of proper names and to consider the methods of their transmission and preservation in translation, the adequacy of the transfer of the author’s idea in the use of character names. The research material was the novel “Ashes of the Stars” by Dibash Kainchin (1994), translated by him and his daughter Kemene Kainchina from the Altai language into Russian (2006), and the text translated into the Yakut language by Semyon Gorokhov (2009). As a result of the research, it was possible to identify the following translation techniques used in the transfer of proper names in the texts of literatures of related languages: phonetic translation methods: transcription, transliteration, a combination of transcription and transliteration; lexical translation methods: semantic calculus, generalization. It is established that when translating the proper names of the story, semantic calculus is mainly used. The next common method is transliteration in combination with transcription. Next comes transliteration, then generalization. A positive role in the translation was played by the kinship of the two languages – both the Altai and Yakut versions of many proper names are based on the same lexemes with common Turkic roots. Translator Semyon Gorokhov, using these techniques, managed to accurately convey the meanings laid down by the author, as well as to reveal the meaning of the proper names of the story “Ashes of the Stars” in all their diversity.
