Ethno-specific in the culture of the Sakha people: linguocultural analysis of words-realities
Abstract
Issues of the national-cultural specifics of the language are very relevant in many areas of knowledge, especially in cultural linguistics. The article presents a linguoculturological analysis of the national and cultural specifics of words and realities, denoting residential buildings of the Yakuts. In this study, the linguistic picture of the world is presented as an integral system in the traditional culture of the Sakha people. The theoretical basis was the scholarly works by C. Levi-Straus, H.G. Gadamer, O. Spengler, P. Ricoeur, B. Malinovsky, S.A. Tokareva, T.V. Chernihiv; A.A. Reformatsky, A.E. Supruna, S. Vlakhova, S. Florin; A.K. Bayburin, N.K. Antonova, F.M. Zykova, S.I. Nikolaeva-Somogotto, and others. The material for the analysis was taken from such sources as the three-volume Dictionary of the Yakut Language by E.K. Pekarsky, “Large explanatory dictionary of the Yakut language. B ”(Part II),“ Yakut-Russian Dictionary” ed. P.A. Sleptsov, “Etymological Dictionary of the Yakut Language” by G.V. Popov. The dwellings and outbuildings of the Yakuts and Russians are analyzed and compared on the basis of linguistic material. A descriptive research method was used, a brief historical excursion to the evolution of housing buildings was carried out, methods of transferring non-equivalent vocabulary in Russian were determined. Using the method of continuous sampling, we compiled a list of words and realities like balagan, buluus, dal, titiik, umuһakh, uraһa, happakhchy, holomo, khospokh, khoton, most of them are already archaized. The above words and realities are used in historical and ethnographic works, in fiction, as well as in the colloquial speech of rural Yakuts.
